At Kronovall we are continually developing our kitchen, refining and evolving. We strive to make your gastronomic experience a vibrant memory when you leave us. A weekend at the castle should be an event, a journey and an adventure. Whether dining alone, together with a loved one or in the company of your management team.
Our true passion is the choice of ingredients. We believe in local resources and in handpicking produce from farmers and cultivators in the area: e.g. cheese from Soldattorpet or Wilhelmsdal, lamb from Skepparps Vineyard or game from local hunting parties. And of cause greens from local cultivators such as Orelund.
In order to give your meal that little extra touch, we choose our wines with great care, mostly from small producers with modern as well as classical wines that suit our philosophy. We take the greatest pride in our own sparkling wine, Tirage, matured in the castle’s ice cellar.
The Castle restaurant
Open all year round for bookings, for bigger as well as minor parties.
We welcome everyone to the castle with a guided tour accompanied by sparkling wine, followed by a wine tasting. Later we provide a five course menu based on seasonal delicacies.
We change our menu according to the season. Crisp fresh vegetables in the spring and early summer. Nettles, asparagus, new potatoes served with seafood, fish and meat from our local farms. In the summer a variety of gorgeous greens, berries and herbs. And in the autumn a wealth of game from the castle’s own forests, mushrooms and fruits from the plantations of beautiful Österlen.
Winter is characterized by spices, richness and warmth, and the key word is local tradition.

From Midsummer (late June) until August 27, Spannstallet (the old coach house) is open daily between 11 am and 8 pm.
The old coach house invites you to a rustic environment, either indoors or on the south lawn with a view of the castle.
In the coach house we serve our renowned pizzas from the wood-fired masonry oven, topped with delicious mozzarella cheese, tomatoes from Orelund, olives from Liguria, fresh roquette salad and carefully selected prosciutto. At a total of SEK 145:-.
In addition we offer salads and pastries.
As a complement to your meal, you can choose from a wide selection of wines especially selected for the season.
We also serve coffee and tea with delicious sweets and ice-cream. Our summer shop is filled to the brim with Italian delicacies and other alluring products.
Every year we have a full calendar with events suited to all ages.
The castle itself is open all year round and offers weekend packages, cooking courses and more.
